We definitely recommend the chalet option, we loved the view on the mangroves from the bathroom, where you can admire the colourful crabs and we even spotted two raccoons passing by! They are currently expanding with 3 additional chalets. The water in front is a snorkeling paradise, with underwater plants, corals and loads of tropical fish in shallow water for as far as you can see. The water is calm and you can swim quite far out of the shore, just be sure to wear a floating jacket and buoy for safety. Also bring some protective shoes to protect yourselves and the corals, the water is quite shallow and corals are hiding inbetween the waterplants. We also did some tours with the hotel which are done with the hotel boat, our favourite is the reef snorkeling tour. It was the most beautiful snorkeling we ever done, and is only 1 km straight across the hotel on the edge of the archipelago. So magical we did this tour twice! The plankton tour is also recommended, but requires the moon to be down for more darkness, in our case at 4.00 a.m. Also amazing to see the stars at night! Lastly we did the islands tour, which brings you around the 3 main islands (Tintipan, Mucura and Islote) and a stop on each (we combined it with a reef snorkeling tour). We passed numerous hotels, but concluded El Embrujo was indeed the best choice. Seems the sea can be somewhat rougher on other sides of the islands, or less underwater life/deeper sea. The kiosk at their own pier is also the best place to watch the sunset every night, and during the day is a nice cool shadow oasis with some wind in (for me) too hot conditions on the shore. Due to the Caribbean weather probability of being more volatile, we booked extra nights to ensure we at least would have some good days. Prior to arrival the weather forecast showed rain and thunder everyday, so we were quite worried.

We spent four nights to relax at the beach after our month travelling throughout Colombia, and the people working at this hotel are really amazing. Very helpful and kind. They also helped us organizing trips to Plancton and diving. And last, but not least, the restaurant is perfect! They offer a big variance of food and everything is very tasteful. Even guests from other hotels are coming to this place for their dinner!

The place is fantastic, in front of the beach, you can sit and relax. Attention was fantastic, Rosana, Manuel and Sore were very kind, very helpful, efficient and friendly, always made us feel as we were  in home. We loved the breakfast which was included. Highly recommendable place.

The place is in a good location, not too far from the entrance of Playa Blanca, which makes it way less crowded, less noisy. The room is fine for the money you pay. Due to the bleach's location, most places don't have power during the day and also are short on water. So you gotta keep in mind when going there. The host was pretty nice and helpful.

Casa Acuarimantima se nachází v destinaci Tintipan Island a nabízí soukromou pláž, bar a restauraci. Na místě vám mohou zařídit dopravu. Všechny pokoje mají vlastní koupelnu. Do not expect luxury in the classical sense. Expect the luxury of a fantastic view from your room and the common facilities, a staff that will do everything for you and exceptional food. If you want to relax on the isles, you might just do it in the hotel where you have sunbeds, hammocks and armchairs with direct view onto the sea. Kayaks and snorkeling equipments can be used for free. Since the hotel is located in the sea, the facilities are rather simple but everything is clean and well maintained. You can also book tours directly in the hotel. Loved it, would anytime go back!

Tiny Village Cartagena Boutique Resort se nachází v destinaci Tierra Bomba a má venkovní bazén, fitness centrum, zahradu a terasu. Hosté mají k dispozici restauraci, bar a vířivku. Amazing stay! The staff was so warm and attentive, always checking on us. The hotel is spotless and comfortable, and the location is perfect — close to everything but still quiet.We’ll definitely come back.
