Staff, hotel has cool decor, bar is very pleasant for a drink and also to eat lunch or dinner, limited menu but what is there is really tasty and good. Breakfast was included and the selection is more than adequate, something for everyone’s taste I would say. Rooms very nice, and hotel is very convenient to ferry port, we would definitely stay here again.

    The location was lovely and quiet in the trees. The place was really clean and comfortable. The beach was a short walk and there was a lovely stream for our dog to play in. Great little shop on site but I would do you shopping before you get there if possible. The closest beach is not dog friendly in the Summer.

    Every I needed and more was provided. Even milk, biscuits and crisps. Very clean and quiet location. Perfect location for my activity in Mount Batten. Pete was very friendly as were his dogs.Lovely location with lake and walks around the locale. Would highly recommend.

    When we arrived the staff bent over backwards to make us feel welcomed. The reception area was very modern and comfortable my only criticism was that I didn't understand why the net curtains were purple and yellow when the theme appeared to be real and yellow. My son said it felt more homely that way rather than commercial. There were dog toys and a dog water bowl by the entrance and the food was nice and well prepared. (Please do change the sides from 'fries' to 'chips' though as fries are thinner)

    The cottage is as cosy as described with beautiful interior design and extremely clean. Didn't need the log burner as the heating was so efficient. Lovely quiet location in a village on the edge of the moors. Very dog friendly with water bowl and treats left for my pets which was a lovely added touch.
