We tried both options, and each was comfortable and enjoyable. In every case, there’s a special feeling of being close to nature. In the evenings, after dinner, the staff lights a campfire where guests can relax in the unique atmosphere. The lodge also offers boat tours on the Kavango River, perfect for watching the sunset and encountering hippos. This was truly one of the most unforgettable evenings of our entire trip. The food deserves special mention. The restaurant terrace is beautifully designed, and the dinner we had there was probably the best of our entire journey.

Our stay at Divava Lodge on the Kavango River for New Year's Eve was absolutely unforgettable! The stunning fireworks display over the river was a spectacular way to ring in the new year. The buffet breakfast was delicious, offering a wide variety of fresh, flavorful options to start the day. Dinner was a true highlight, with a fantastic selection of mouthwatering dishes that showcased the best local flavors. The serene setting and top-notch service made this an incredible experience that I won't soon forget. Highly recommended!

From the moment you enter the gates, you can tell this is a special property where lots of care and attention has been given. The gardens are stunning and the rooms as super comfortable with quality fixtures and fittings. Stefan provided a delicious dinner at short notice and the food was delicious and well presented. We could not find fault with anything and would highly recommend !

Right on the banks of the river, you can see the hippos and buffalo jostling around after dusk… the noise is incredible. We were visited by elephants, lions and many antelope during our stay. It was an incredible night. Facilities were great, USB charging station was a bonus. Check in was quick, friendly and efficient. Would definitely stay again.
