Ideally set in the centre of Anuradhapura, Lake House Home Stay offers free WiFi, a garden and free private parking for guests who drive. Lake House is incredible. Try to get one of the rooms upstairs as you have a better view of the monkeys and squirrels climbing the palm trees. Not only are the hosts friendly and welcoming, they are excellent sources of travel advice and really make your travel planning easy. Bicycles are available and this is an excellent way to see the sites nearby. And the food!!! The breakfasts are absolutely scrumptious with huge helpings - you won't need lunch. The photo shows the view from the breakfast area, where you can chat with other travellers if you wish. The room is comfortable and clean. Unlimited drinking water available day and night. Lake House isn't about having enough power points (there aren't) or having a wardrobe or similar for your stuff (there isn't). It's about unbelievable value, in all senses of the word.

Maho was our best stay in Sri Lanka within 4 weeks. Large rooms, great sanitairy, and a lovely bed with pillows feeling like clouds.

The rooms are clean and very comfortable, and the accommodation is well located for visiting the sites of Anuradhapura. The hosts are incredibly generous and hospitable. They did everything to make us feel comfortable and helped us organize our visits. And above all, we had the best Sri Lankan breakfast of our entire trip!!! Boasting air-conditioned accommodation with a terrace, MONI FARM HOUSE WILPATTU is situated in Nochchiyagama. Guests can benefit from a balcony and an outdoor fireplace. Staff were amazing and host was easy to contact and flexible. Location was well out of the way with an amazing lake within a few minutes walk with trials to walk also bit perfect for Wilpattu national park. Food was really nice and the room had everything you could need.

Offering free bikes and garden view, Wilpattu Mookalan Resort is set in Habawewa, 39 km from Kumbichchan Kulama Tank and 39 km from Jaya Sri Maha Bodhi. We had an amazing experience in Wikpattu Mooklan Resort! The owner and his son were taking care of us all the time and organized a great safari! It was a full day trip at a very affordable price, We managed to see 3 leopards, bear, elefant, crocodiles, tones of deers, and many, many other species of mammals, reptiles and birds. At night we could hear a lot of animals and it was an extremely peaceful time. The food was delicious and made with love. Absolutely recommended place!
