The apartment was great, with everything one needs for a few days' stay. The kitchen is very well furnished and the washing machine + tumble dryer is a ++. The coffee we got as present was AMAZING! The staff was great and the area is really clean, safe, green and it's a pleasure to walk around. I had read someone commenting that it doesn't feel safe to walk around unless you're a local and I'm wondering if the person had mistaken this hotel with another one. Because all you need are legs that are willing to take you around. It's a residential area where I never felt unsafe for a single second. There's a good supermarket, Carulla, almost behind the corner, and - if you feel like walking a bit longer, an hypermarket inside a shopping center about 15 mins away. The parking is another ++. We really enjoyed our stay and we'll book again if we visit Medellín in the future.

A fabulous hotel in the best part of El Poblado. Walking distance to some of the best restaurants and malls, as well as to the popular area around El Poblado Park. Views from our room were spectacular! We watched the fog lift over the hills around Medellin in the morning and the twinkling lights at night. Best of all are the staff: John and Alvaro, who alternated as concierges, Alejandra on the desk, Jaison on night duty -- we could ask them for anything and they would arrange it. The suites are large and comfortable with a kitchenette, perfect for long stays, and the breakfasts were amazing. Kudos to all!

Located in the exclusive area of Poblado, near Medellin’s business centres, Hotel Porton Medellin offers modern rooms with free Wi-Fi and cable TV. Facilities include free on-site private parking. Breakfast was buffet style. Easy and quick to eat and move onto the days activities. Room was large and comfortable. Location is easy to access and large mall across the street for shopping and entertainment.
