The service was impeccable, no request was too much for the amicable front office staff. The beverage station on every floor was a great touch. Previous reviews mentioned the sound of church bells to be disturbing at night, but we found them to be soothing and not inconvenient. Loved the design concept running through the hotel and we look forward to exploring their sister properties.

Hotel Spalentor is located opposite the Botanic Gardens, a 5-minute walk from the Old Town of Basel and the University, and offers free bicycles, free WiFi, a fitness area and a quiet garden with a... Friendly staff who are very welcoming and helpful. Accommodations were clean and comfortable.

Steinenschanze Charming City & Garden Hotel is less than 5 minutes' walk from Basel's city centre and the university, close to historical buildings and the old town. The Steinenachanze Hotel was perfect for us, close to the city center, very good staff, clean and spacious rooms with great price, beautiful breakfest area with good alternatives to eat.

The breakfast each morning was delicious, varied and nutritious. The B&B was secure and easily accessible using a swipe card. The area was very handy to the trams so getting around Basel was very easy.
