The place was amazing, we loved being immersed in nature. The host was absolutely fantastic (provided lots of additional information ahead of time and was very friendly and helpful on site) plus her food was super delicious. We booked a tour with Simone and had the best time (saw lots of animals, great explanations, lovely picnic and tons of fun)!

We felt so very welcomed by the super friendly owner Eliana and her house is cozy, beautiful and unique. Situated at the River Sierpe and in a lush garden we were surrounded by the stunning nature. We went on an early morning boat trip for three hours organized by Eliana and saw lots of different birds, some crocodiles, some caymans and two species of monkeys (capuchin and squirrel monkeys). After the boat trip Eliana indulged us with a delicious breakfast. We would have loved to stay longer... Thank you so much! ♡

Hotel Cocodrilo was everything i expected and more. Our room was upgraded upon arrival which was unexpected but very generous and appreciated. Unfortunately we only stayed very briefly as it was a quick turnaround in our travel plans between locations (Drake Bay and Montezuma). The pool was enjoyed by all as a different pace to the salty ocean waves. I basked in the glorious AC for a night as a respite from the fans and humidity. Stephany was an absolute wonderful host. I wish we were able to stay for breakfast, but the early morning coffee was much appreciated. You can walk from Sierpe (we did with fully loaded backpacks!) but the short taxi ride from the boat launch may appreciated. Bring cash to pay for your stay! If I ever return to CR and am down this way I would definitely stay here again no question.

Its a super chilled place, you really have the full Jungle experience. The Owner that rents them is really cool, he helps you with anything and also brings across the river whenever you want. There‘s a dog named Marley, also a amazing dog, he protects all the cabines.

Our stay at this apartment was absolutely wonderful! The place was exceptionally clean, comfortable, and perfectly equipped with all the amenities we needed. The location was ideal, conveniently close to the ferry dock. Our host, Adriana, warmly welcomed us and went above and beyond with her kindness and attention, even helping us resolve an issue with our laundry. Lovely little cabin to myself right on a little stream with so much wildlife to observe while chling out in a hammock on the second story balcony. The family invited me into their home, treated me like part of the family and cooked me 2 amazing meals.
