熱海温泉 実の別荘 bevindt zich in Atami, op 19 minuten lopen van Atami Sun Beach en 27 km van station Hakone-Yumoto, en biedt accommodatie met een gedeelde lounge, gratis WiFi in de hele accommodatie en... When we arrived (which was late due to traffic) we were greeted by the enthusiasm of the host, he helped us with parking and was very excited to show us the place. We felt very welcome. There are private bathrooms which you can book to bath with your friends/family, one of the best thing about this little gem in Atami:) I was surprised by the cleanliness and the comfort level here. it’s a newly refurbished building, it has three floors with a spacious living room/common room on the second floor which is shared by all the customers here. The room comes with a standard toilet and a shower and quite spacious overall. The tatami bed is comfy. Other reviews complained about the location, but because we drive we think it is an amazing spot! It’s 3 min drive from the famous shrine, and 5 minute to the ginza where there is lots of restaurants and shops. You can also see the fireworks display in the living room if you come on the right times:) We didn’t get the youthful and energetic host’s name, but thank you so much we had a great time staying!!

SOKI ATAMI bevindt zich in Atami, op 1,7 km van Atami Sun Beach, en biedt accommodatie met een tuin, gratis privéparkeren, een terras en een restaurant. This was a fantastic experience that will be on my mind for a long time. The food, the staff, the onsen, the rooms, everything was awesome.

Onyado Yuinosho, Shirakawago ligt in Shirakawa, op 45 km van Openluchtmuseum Hida Minzoku Mura, Hida no Sato, en biedt accommodatie met een gedeelde lounge, gratis privéparkeren, een restaurant en een... It felt like a premium experience. The room was bigger than expected which felt good. The onsen had a lot of options such as a sauna and cold dip among more.

Oyado Koto No Yume ligt op slechts 2 minuten wandelen van het Station Takayama en biedt kamers in Japanse stijl met een kleurrijk tintje. Location was exceptional - great base for exploring. The staff were all very helpful. We loved their restaurant recommendations and that reservations were made for us. Breakfast was also a positive experience - we tried all three options.

Historical Ryokan Hostel K's House Ito Onsen is gevestigd in een 100 jaar oud, historisch monument in Shizuoka en ligt op 7 minuten lopen van het JR treinstation van Ito. Spending time in this place was so amazing and comfortable. We rented the yukatas with my friend, so we felt like we were in some historical movie. The onsen was so private and cozy. It was one of the best places we've been in Japan. Also, there was a yummy place with the grilled meat near the hostel.

Miyama Ouan Kyoritsu Resort ligt in de rustige Hida-bergen, en biedt traditionele accommodatie met warmwaterbronnen en uitzicht op de natuur. Fantastische onsen, heerlijk warm water om in te ontspannen. Super eten, halfpension echt een aanrader! Privé hot tub ook aan te bevelen, mooie ruime kamer

GREENITY IWATA bevindt zich in Iwata, op 12 km van Shizuoka Stadium ECOPA, en biedt accommodatie met een gedeelde lounge, gratis privéparkeren, een terras en een restaurant. Everything, upon arriving and entering the lobby then into our room the surroundings already felt super relaxing, even more inside the room where all you need is available from full skin care, comb, body towel, coffee, black/matcha, different type of pillows (firm/soft). We didn't get the chance to try the onsen, breakfast was great as well. Options of japanese and western sets for each person. Check-in was smooth and the concierge was super helpful.

伊東山荘-Toki- is gelegen in Ito, op 30 km van Shuzenji tempel, en biedt accommodatie met een tuin, gratis privéparkeren, een terras en een restaurant. The gentleman in charge of the kitchen was super nice and the food was delicious!

横川温泉湯殿ととのゆ bevindt zich in Shimoda, op 33 km van Koibito Misaki (Kaap van de Geliefden), en biedt accommodatie met een tuin, gratis privéparkeren en een gedeelde lounge. We have never experienced this kind of luxury in our lives….. this place and environment totally blew our minds! We had te luxury to stay in the villa, and exceeded all our expectations. The views, the pool, the sauna, the hotspring tub, the fireplace, the BBQ… it was more than enough to really end our holiday totally relaxed! We were supposed to go to Tokyo the last 3 days of our holiday, but we where glad that we canceled that, and went to Shikuoka instead! The falls and wasabi fields and hikes nearby were great excursions, and then come back to the villa was a real dream! Also there were no other guests, so we had the whole place for ourselves….
