Staying a Yuki-san’s place was a highlight of our time in Japan. The room was comfortable and spacious, the outdoor footbath was amazing, the house was very clean and well-maintained, and Yuki-san was so kind, even going out of his way to help us with a local car rental. And Yuki-san’s cat is super shy but very cute.

Spacious, super clean, well, wonderful view, the owner was responsive and super nice, helped us with anything we needed. Everything about it was so convenient and comfortable. So many outlets, great Wi-Fi, washing machine, and of course, the highlight - a private onsen! Really a wonderful stay.

Absolutely magical place, hidden in a mountain valley, surrounded by lush forest. The rooms look directly onto the river and are very generously spaced. Sadly we were only there for one night. Big mistake, it feels like you could spend an eternity there.

Although we did not meet, the main positive about the place is the host… super fast responses, full of really kind attentions, before, during and after our stay. It’s so nice to be dealing with someone so thoughtful 😍 The place is a flat with a bloke of flat so you’re basically « leaving » like a local and definitely have a taste of it. The place is walking distance from the city centre (around the train station) and not far from the sandbath. Beds were comfortable and you could really fit a whole family in or 2 couples :-) Thanks you so so much… it was a pleasure.

Really big and spacious and beautifully designed. They even have an onsen with a TV inside which is mind blowing! The location is great for us because we drive and they are next to a farm with very scenic views!

Boss'sHouse 犬ok 1組限定の宿 se nachází v destinaci Kirišima a poskytuje ubytování s bezplatným Wi-Fi a klimatizací, zahradu a terasu. Boss's house is the best! Beds are comfy and water pressure is very good and Haruka makes delicious food even had soy milk for our coffee and really thought of everything for us. Her English is good and you can feel at ease at Boss's House. Her dad is very nice and even played us some traditional Okinawa music. If you want a real Japanese host experience we can not recommend it highly enough. Just understand this is home in the middle of quiet street nothing is walkable so we had haruka pick us up and drop us off at airport which was seemless experience but does cost extra but it is totally worth it as taxis can be difficult to find or guide to this location. Haruka communication with us before our trip was above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. We loved our stay on our way to Yakushima Island as a one night layover.
