Onyado Yuinosho, Shirakawago provides a sauna and free private parking, and is within 45 km of Hida Minzoku Mura Folk Village and 46 km of Takayama Station. It felt like a premium experience. The room was bigger than expected which felt good. The onsen had a lot of options such as a sauna and cold dip among more.

Is like the Onsen amusement park! The place is incredible! So many services!! Everything is just amazing; the town, the hotel, the room, the baths… they even allow you to check the bath of another hotel, in case you did not have enough! I have been in many Ryokan and this was TOP!

Located in Takayama and only 48 km from Takayama Station, Hakuunsou provides accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. The loveliest woman took care of everything and everything was amazing. The food as well was exceptional! I loved the location, right next to the bus stop, but you have to love a quiet place.

The hotel is very beautiful and the japanese room is amazing. Very clean and comfortable, with attention to every detail. Drinks are provided for free and you have a kettle in your room. What really made our stay exceptional is the staff. They are very welcoming and kind. They make you feel like home and help you have a traditional japanese experience. This place holds a place in our hearts because of how the staff treated us. They offered us fresh made tea when we arrived with snacks and explained to us the japanese breakfast. Seriously very attentive and generous. I highly recommend staying here. We stayed for one night but I think two nights is better to enjoy the hotel and beautiful Takayama.

Stunning mountain area. The onsen was incredible! You are really surrounded by forest. The meals we had were the best food we ate in the country. Real home cooking perfection. The onsen was a delight even in summer.

Minshuku Takizawa provides a hot spring bath and free private parking, and is within 29 km of Kamikochi and 30 km of Kappa Bridge. Lovely ryokan in beautiful location with very friendly and helpful staff and delicious food. The outdoor onsens are amazing
