Aquaignis Awaji Island TRAILER PARK offers a sauna and a hot spring bath, as well as air-conditioned accommodation in Awaji. The spot, the view, the staff, everything is amazing. The food at the restaurant and bakery are both delicious, including the BBQ. We rented electric bikes and we had such a fun time visiting the nearby sea, beaches and mountains. The pool and onsen are also great.

Facing the seafront, Awaji Hamarikyu is a ryokan providing a 5-star accommodation in Minamiawaji. It features a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, open-air bath and private parking. We got a good deal while coming off season and wanted to experience an onsen resort while visiting Japan. The meals were very good traditional Japanese food. The onsens were very nice and not busy, and the rooms were traditional and spacious. The town this hotel is in doesn’t have a lot going on so expect to spend your time in the room/onsen. We did walk down the road to a shrine on the beach, then walked back to the hotel along the beach, hoping to catch the sunset. Unfortunately, it was a hazy day and we didn't get a great sunset, but it was a very nice walk back!

This property was an exceedingly lovely experience. The location was perfect in the little town and very walkable to shopping, bus transportation, restaurants, and other eateries. The location also was centrally located for all the attractions on Awaji Island and I highly recommend taking the SoMa bus if you don't have a car to all the botanical gardens and other attractions on the island. The traditional Onsen spas is a must to try! I have never had an spa this exceptional in anywhere I have traveled to and I highly recommend the spa services. There is an Ayurvedic treatment of warm oil dripping on your forehead as you receive a head massage. The food is par excellence, featuring local products that will not disappoint. Their dessert bar with hand-made ice creams and treats are a delight. The service was exceptional! We had an English speaking staff member, Sara, who made our trip incredibly comfortable. Sara is extremely knowledgeable and assisted us in transportation to our separate airports. I will be going back and brining my husband who needs to experience this sensational resort hotel.

Nagisa-no-Sho Hanagoyomi offers spacious Japanese-style rooms with spectacular sea views, some of which boast a terrace and private outdoor hot spring bath. We took the room with open bath. It was the best relaxing experience we have ever had. Beautiful ocean view from the room and also from the open bath. You can hear the sound of waves, birds,etc. Exceptional experience. Dinner and breakfast were also exceptional.

Hotel room overseeingthe sea.. able to see sunrise.. Room is spacious, clean and comfortable. Onsen facilities is great! All the staff are very friendly and kind.
