Located an 11-minute drive from JR Shirahama Train Station, Nanki-Shirahama Marriott Hotel offers a view of the beautiful Namariyama Bay and free WiFi at public areas. The customer service was impeccable, the room was huge, and the bathroom was very clean. I loved the onsen on the 11th floor - so relaxing and such a great view. I also liked the fact I could rent a bike, which I did. It was a great way to see the town.

Opened in March 2014, Osaka Marriott Miyako Hotel is located on the high floors of Abeno Harukas building featuring direct access to Tennoji Station. Luxurious rooms feature free WiFi. I loved the convenient location to and from Itami airport and option to use the airport bus from a bus stop a few minutes walk from the hotel. I loved that the hotel was right at the Tennoji train station, and we were able to catch our train to and from locations in Wakayama prefecture very easily and then just walk to / from the hotel. The view from the room was a spectacular city view and our room was very comfortable - including the bed, bedding, pillows, shower, and amenities. I wanted to leave an item of value at the hotel before going on a multi-day hiking trek (Kumano Kodo) and the manager had given permission to leave it in a safe box for me. I didn't end up leaving it but it was excellent that I had the option and that the staff was so accommodating. We loved the tremendous and delicious breakfast buffet and views from the restaurant and the discount voucher for guests at the hotel.
