I loved that the place was inside a beautiful gated wildlife preserve. I felt very safe and secure there. A delightful bonus was seeing giraffe feeding on the trees so close to the walking path just steps from the guest house door! I also saw a warthog and some impala very nearby the place as well. It was a lovely experience staying here! I loved sitting on the porch watching the sunset and hearing the birds singing in the mornings! The hosts Zelda and George were very kind and made sure I found the place alright. They were also very responsive to my questions and concerns.

We loved that you can do safari drives in both the Kruger national park, which is huge, and the Sabi Sands that is more intimate and you can get a little closer to the animals. The staff make this place amazing, all so kind and accommodating. We loved our guide Percy who really went above and beyond on our drives, and Matt who was really accommodating, plus all other staff (too many to mention). The food was great, all meals. The tents are nicer than expected with really comfortable, large beds, air con and a good shower/bathroom. The pool area is also really nice and they are building a second. Overall really great value and the perfect safari experience. We hope to return again!

Incredible location well located in Hoedspruit! Ruan and his family (owners of the lodge) were super welcoming and so friendly. They let their home become ours which was a very personal touch! We can recommend this accommodation 1000%. Nothing is missing, it is pure luxury! We have traveled all over the world but have never experienced anything so great like this. The hosts will do everything possible to make you happy. The best wines are available. If you want, you can also sleep under the stars. The daily breakfast is a work of art that the hostess prepares herself. The entire complex is decorated with a lot of love down to the smallest detail. If you want to feel like a superstar, you should definitely book here. We can only say thank you very much and hope to come back again.

Highly recommend this place! The lodge is immersed in wonderful nature with trees, flowers and lots of birds, beautiful and relaxing. Room was clean and spacious. Breakfast was good and freshly prepared every morning, there are few options from which you can choose which cover both sweet and salty. We also had dinner (must be paid separately) which is highly recommended, we had our best tenderloin and chicken curry of our stay in South Africa! Most importantly: the hosts are extremely nice and attentive, and gave us a lot of tips and recommendations for our stay.
