Located in Udawalawe in the Ratnapura District region, Wild River Side provides accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking, as well as access to a hot tub. We really enjoyed staying at Wild River Side. Off the main road and set in a beautiful garden with spice trees. We had dinner there and had some of the best Sri Lankan vegetable curries so far on our trip. Owner organised transport from Ella and to Tangalle at a reasonable price as well as the jeep for the safari. The cottage was clean and had warm shower and AC.

Best Safari guide ever, Nandu (guide and owner of the property) was very nice and calm. Drove us to a lunch place and took us back so we don't have to walk in the heat. Rooms were comfortable and spacious. Owner showed us many different animals that we never seen before, very interesting experience. The dinner family made was delicious also.

Staying with Sujee was a delightful experience ! We had the chance to stay in the middle of the jungle between trees and a river flowing by. The room was super clean and comfortable and Sujee’s wife prepared the best Sri lankan diner for us. A true peaceful peace of heaven. We also did a Safari with Sujee who know his Udawalawe park by heart and can guide you the best to see the most of animals !

We were a family of five with adult children and had the whole villa for ourselves, and the experience was amazing! The villa is newly built and everything felt brand new but yet very familiar with Ishan heading a super attentive and nice staff. The views are breathtaking over the surrounding mountains, with a small river pond on the property to take a refreshing dip into (together with the small fish givning you a interesting fish spa experience). We just felt blessed staying in this tranquille environment, enjoying excellent food and just hanging out together. It was definitely more than worth the bumpy ride up to this place. Big thanks to Ishan with staff that made this an extraordinary experience.

The villa was stunning, way better than the pictures. The garden is stunning and my son loved running around discovering all the plants, wildlife and fruits. We were undecided about our National Park visit. We saw the evaluations for nature glow had, and it turned out they were 100% accurate. They organized a driver to pick us up and Ella and drive us to their magical accommodation. There are two accommodation villas located on a rise of land above a small creek entering a larger river. It's very much in the jungle with wildlife abounding. The air conditioning, which was important to us worked very well, and the bed, room and bathroom were all very good. Our hosts arranged for a safari driver for the two of us. The next morning we are up early and went on Safari in the national park. We saw many many elephants, both solo and in groups of females with their babies. And we also saw a variety of other wildlife. For us Sri Lankan food was a new experience. I fully recommend that you arrange to have your breakfast and dinner at the villa. The dishes were authentic and delicious. We were treated to a variety of different Sri Lankan food. Our host were wonderful people. They took pride and doing everything possible to make our stay as comfortable enjoyable and interesting as possible.
