高野山 こころの寺子屋リトリートハウス -Koyasan Retreat House IKKOSHO se nachází v destinaci Kojasan a poskytuje zahradu a bezplatné Wi-Fi. Kishi Station je 37 km odtud a Matsushita Park 44 km. The retreat was just as expected—simple, clean, and peaceful. The owner is one of the nicest people I’ve met and leads optional guided meditations in the morning, which were a highlight.

Wonderfully charming mountain cottage. The cottage itself has everything a visitor needs — comfortable futons, good shower and bathroom, kitchen and, most importantly, a deck that looks out across the mountains to the sea. We visited on a hot August day, but the cottage enjoyed a fresh breeze that immediately cooled us off. I would highly recommend the cottage.

Na místě je dostupné bezplatné Wi-Fi ve všech prostorách.... I likes absolutely everything about this property! I expected it to be very ‘rustic’ considering the price but it was perfect! The rooms were super roomy (not just by Japanese standards..) and super clean and equipped with everything you might need to warm/cook your meals, comfortable beds and best of all- beautiful French doors by the kitchen table where the deer approach in the morning. The staff that was working (or manger?) was incredibly kind and helpful, giving us pointers about the area, he even pointed out an illuminated temple nearby. Made our stay extra special. Would wholeheartedly recommend!

It is an old style house, so as long as you aren't expecting Western/modern comforts, it's fantastic! My daughter called it the Totoro house. You will sleep on Japanese futons that you lay out on the tatami mats - if you've never slept on a futon it might feel uncomfortable/hard compared to Western beds. You will eat sitting on the tatami mats, but there are a couple of small Western chairs if sitting on the floor is difficut. The bathroom is Japanese style with the toilet in one section, the sink/vanity in a second section and the shower with separate furo (deep bathtub for soaking after washing in the shower) in the third section. It was not the most modern but all clean and more spacious than the Western hotel bathrooms we had other parts of Japan! There is a TV, wifi worked great and a bluetooth speaker to play music. There aren't a lot of "tourist" attractions nearby but it you want serenity this hits the spot - a few steps away has you walking among farming fields and the house is also close to the forest with a little stream running along side the road making for a peaceful but easy walk up the mountain. The gohan (rice) cooked in the old style stove was the best we ate our entire trip! Wish we had bought some of the local rice. It can get a little smoky when dinner is being cooked but my mild asthma was fine. The host, Hiro, is amazing, super accomodating and friendly, he introduced us to his shiba inu (dog) and his duck, and even though we didn't ask ahead, he prepped for us to make tofu - this experience was an extra fee but totally worth it! During the winter you can also request mochitsuki (pounding rice into mochi) and summer/fall you can make noodles (can't remember if he said soba, ramen or udon). Hiro's English is limited, but he's so engaging, we asked him to eat dinner with us and my daughter loved that...he has such good energy!

The staff came to pick us up at Hashimoto station mid-afternonn because it's really remote from anything and they dropped us at Koyasan the next day. We should have stayed for 2 nights instead of 1 because there is a lot to see in Koya san. The staff was extremely helpful and patient with us. They really took good care of us. The food was amazing ! They even adjusted to my seafood allergy. Thank you for your warm welcome !

I really enjoyed the private access Onsen, available to sign up once a day. Perfect after biking around Kushimoto all day—I rented one of their electric assist bikes which made going up and down the local hills easier. Complete with helmet and cell phone holder. The room was very spacious and comfortable.

Hotel Morgenrot se nachází ve čtvrti Arima Onsen v destinaci Kóbe a nabízí výhled na město. Tosen Shrine je 500 metrů odtud a Gokurakuji Temple 70 metrů. Takový alpský hotel v Japonsku . Ubytování má své velké kouzlo . Dva Onseny v ceně pobytu , jukaty, ručníky , vše připraveno . Pecka . Dobrá restaurace na oběd součástí hotelu . Nečekejte žádné luxusní ubytování , ale účelně zařízený levnější hotel v úžasném místě, všude se dá dojít pěšky . Moc jsme si užili celou atmosféru tohoto města a lanovku na horu Rokko moc doporučuji . Cesta dle navigace k hotelu byla šílená . Na to pozor , dá se k hotelu dojet i po normální silnicí. Parkování u hotelu jsme velmi ocenili . Děkujeme za skvělý pobyt .
