Akira san the owner himself greeted me upon my arrival. He is very polite and friendly. Lodge staff tour me around the facility with a smile on her face. I had a great time and best experience during my stay.

Great place! the owner goes above and beyond to make you feel at home and you can feel how things are kept to the highest standard - from the rooms to the facilities. The breakfast is amazing, we had it before a tough hiking day and it kept us going until the evening! It's also incredibly delicious and contains veggies from the garden. We'd like to thank the owner for taking good care of us and helping us have an awesome time. :)

Chrám Zenkodži se nachází 31 km daleko a Nagano železniční stanice 33... Papa was so lovely. It was a beautiful traditional guest house. I had breakfast too and it was lovely. I also really appreciated lifts too and from ski school and to the train station. It was honestly such a beautiful stay and I will be back. For any solo travellers, it was a very family vibe and I felt very welcome. Thank you Papa!

Uchimaru Hakuba poskytuje ubytování v destinaci Hakuba. Tsugaike Kogen ski areál je 8,9 km odtud a Nagano železniční stanice 42 km. The location next to the bus stop and walking distance to downtown was great. The owner was very patient and helpful and answered my many questions.

Belle Vue Nishiura se nachází v obci Minami Uonuma v regionu Niigata, 3 minuty chůze od lyžařského střediska Ishiuchi-Maruyama, a nabízí přímý přístup na sjezdovku a lyžárnu. Wonderful place. Would recommend to solo-travelers, families or groups of friends. Location is within walking distance to Ishiuchi Maruyama Ski Resort. The owner Satoshi-san and all staff are extremely kind and helpful. Provided a free shuttle to the station when returning home. Excellent prices of rental gear, much lower than the ski resorts. Great gear as well. Absolutely perfect.

Our favourite thing about the property was the wonderful and welcoming host, Yuki. He was extremely helpful and it is thanks to him and his mother that Marushige is run so brilliantly. Our room was traditional Japanese style and extremely cosy - although we were sleeping on futons on the floor we were very warm. The shared bathroom was very clean and all of the other guests were very respectful. The location was perfect for both getting to the slopes on foot, visiting local onsens and getting dinner along the Main Street. One night we had dinner at Marushige and it was fantastic, we ate some very refined local cuisine - they even served us a local delicacy of horse meat sashimi (I have to admit that I could not eat it as I don’t really eat meat but my husband tried it).

Taka is amazing and such a cool guy, he arranged alt accommodation for us when his place was booked and dropped us off, shuttled our luggage back and forth, boiled eggs for me, had nice yarns with him. His partner and daughter are also amazing so friendly and welcoming! They invited us to a tea ceremony to celebrate the spring coming which was an awesome experience and added bonus to the snowboarding for which we came! Highly, highly recommended if you're coming to Hakuba!!

ノマの森 Nomanomori B&B se nachází v destinaci Čino a nabízí bezplatné Wi-Fi, zahradu, terasu a bar. Na místě je k dispozici soukromé parkoviště. The hosts are kind and thoughtful and gave us very good advice for dinner locally and for our next destination. Best of all, the breakfast was delicious and kept us going all day. Our room was small, but we knew that when we booked so we were not bothered by that in any way. Aovely way to break up the trip from Tokyo to Kamikochi if you have a car and it is worth a visit just for the sake of being there.

Shiga Kogen Lodge se nachází v destinaci Jamanouči a nabízí bezplatné Wi-Fi, neplacené soukromé parkoviště a výhled na hory. Opičí park Džigokudani se nachází 20 km odtud. Amazing place! So cozy and welcoming. Staff are so sweet!
