What really made our stay special were the wonderful owners — so welcoming and attentive. We were greeted with fresh fruits and homemade olive oil, and Maria even treated us to her delicious homemade pastries, which felt like a gift from the heart. The location is perfect for exploring the many beaches nearby, as well as Rethymno and Chania. We felt at home here from the very first moment, and we would love to return again. We can’t recommend this place enough!

Marcos and his family are wonderful people – always smiling, helpful, and speaking several languages including English and French. The breakfast with local specialties was delicious. The hotel has a perfect location to explore central Crete, with amazing views of the sea and olive groves – especially beautiful at sunrise and sunset. Very peaceful, ideal for total relaxation. Nearby there is a great taverna with breathtaking views, and also an olive oil factory with a museum where you can learn about the production process. Highly recommended!

The exceptional host provided instructions on my arrival about using the fan to make my stay as pleasant as possible. He was very caring, asking how I was and if I needed anything. He reacted immediately when I needed his help early in the morning, and was there within a few minutes. Great location, the city center is only a 15-minute walk, and a 4-minute walk is the Kafeneio Reisis, where the tasty, flavorful, delectable, heavenly food is.

Bursting with vibrant flowers, fragrant herbs, and even fruit trees, it felt like wandering through a hidden Eden. And at night? Pure magic. The sky was a glittering canvas of stars, with shooting stars streaking across every few minutes (yes, we counted—along with a few satellites for fun!). Please have breakfast on the veranda! The hosts prepare everything fresh—local bread, jams, yogurt, and more—making it the perfect way to start the day in paradise. If you're looking for a peaceful escape from city life, Xerolithos is the place. This was such a lovely, peaceful location! The rooms were very clean and well equipped for any needs during our families stay. It is a family owned business and they went above and beyond to take care of us. They were so friendly and warm and made it feel like a home away from home. The food was really from farm to table and it was very delicious! We would heavily recommend to any thinking of visiting.
