Rainbow Valley Lodge is located located in Monteverde Costa Rica, in the mountains of Monteverde. It offers lush gardens and rooms with free WiFi and fantastic mountain views. The view was amazing from cabin #6. Amanda was very welcoming and informative from starting to the end.

It is magical here and I hope I have that chance to visit again. My only regret is not staying longer. I had the breakfast one morning, which was lovely. The facilities are minimal. This is easily managed if planned for. There is no fridge in the little pod I stayed in, but there is a microwave. The microwave was enough for me to have a couple small meals. People have mentioned more counter space would be nice. I found it good enough. I had my things organized under the bed. Having the travel packing pods was useful. It is remote, and I suggest bringing in your own drinking water. I didn't get sick or anything, but as a precaution, that is my advice. There are lovely outdoor seating areas. I traveled with a small collapsible chair. It was great for this location, as well as when I visited beaches in other parts of the country. There are great knock off versions of the helinox chairs. If you bring one for your trip you won't regret it. This place is very special, and I offer these little tips so that you can enjoy this accommodation as much as I have. I cannot express enough how beautiful and magical the location is with the surrounding jungle covered mountains. For context. I am a solo female traveler. I felt very safe in this remote location. I had a suv rental from Adobe (very excellent car rental). I didn't need the 4wd, but had it been raining, then I likely would have used it a bit. Definitely need the high clearance on the vehicle. There was only 1 spot that required the clearance when i visited. I used the downhill assist when driving into the valley. That was very useful, and easier on the brakes. Driving back from Santa Elena in the dark was fine for me. Thank you to the hosts for having such beautiful and unique accommodations.

Välibasseini, aia ning konditsioneeri, terrassi ja tasuta WiFi-ühendusega Little Escape asub 500 meetri kaugusel Carmeni rannast. Highly recommend this ''Little escape". Mike is a great host, super responsive and kind. The apartment is comfortable and stylish. Swimming pool is relaxing. We travelled with our baby and dog : it took us no time to fully embrace the lifestyle of little escape / Santa Teresa. Go for it!

Cabinas Costa Tropicana asub 12 km kaugusel Alturase looduskaitsealast. Kohapeal on välibassein, aed ning konditsioneeri, terrassi ja tasuta WiFi-ühendusega majutusruumid. Everything was wonderful, we were in Costa Rica for 5 weeks and this was the best place so far. If I ever go back to Costa Rica I would definitely stay here again.

Ojochalis asuvas majutusasutuses El Pulpo Safari Lodge on tasuta WiFi-ühendus, välibassein, aed ja terrass. Tortuga on puhkemajast 2,4 km kaugusel ning Alturase looduskaitseala on 29 km kaugusel. This is like luxury camping, where the place is a mix between a tent and an apartment. We had a nice view of the mountains, which we enjoyed from our terrace with a hammock, and we cooked on the gas stove. It was so peaceful. My biggest fear was sleeping without air conditioning, but we slept well. The beds are comfortable, and the fan and fresh air were sufficient for good sleep.

This was exactly what I was looking for. Something deeper in the jungle yet close to Uvita and the coast. Just the peace and quiet and closeness to Nature I needed. And the cabin has no glass windows, just screens, so you can hear the music of the jungle very clearly. Nights were spectacular. I loved falling asleep to the symphony of the the surrounding wilderness and waking up to the sounds of roosters and howler monkeys (: The property has access to a river and mini waterfall which was very tranquil and serene. The drive to the cabin was a fun little adventure in itself and 4x4 is recommended. The hill that leads down to the cabin is ultra steep but you have the option to park atop the hill and walk down which is a short jaunt. The host, Wouter, was amazingly attentive, personable, and chill. He would always respond to my questions/ messages quickly. You could not ask for a better host. I can recommend Loft del Rio with total confidence and rate it a perfect 10. If you are looking to experience an immersive jungle experience that is also close to the coast, this is it.

We loved the beautiful forest surroundings around our treehouse! Although we knew there were other treehouses close by, giving us a sense of security, our view from our treehouse itself was total jungle, giving us a private jungle vibe with no other treehouses or buildings within view of us. It was such a cool experience! We were lucky to have 2 sunny mornings so we woke up slowly, lying in bed, enjoying the dappled sunlight peaking through our jungle view from the vast windows. I loved Monteverde and hope to go back and when I do, I'll stay here again!

Friendly staff. José was really really good with communication. He sent information in good time and responded to questions instantly. Great cloud forest view from the window. Comfortable beds. Feeding calves was great fun for kids. Short distance to treetopia which is great for families with kids older than 5 years old. :-)

Basseini, aia, terrassi ja aiavaatega El Sol Monteverde asub Monteverde Costa Ricas. Majutusruumides on tasuta WiFi-ühendus. Igas majutusruumis on külmkapp, minibaar, kohvimasin, röster ja veekeetja. Very cosy and secluded place, gorgeous garden, the best food we’ve had in Costa Rica - delicious and gourmet. The staff was very friendly and with great recommendations about attractions in the area. The pool looked good, but it was raining, so we didn’t try it. The room had a small kitchenette and this is the only place in Vista Rica, where we had kettle to make tea- everywhere else only coffee makers .
