We had an unforgettable stay there! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with kindness by the amazing people who work there. Azucena and Pacho went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. They were always ready to help and shared so much of their knowledge and love for the place. They even got us fresh fruits straight from the land — lime, tangerines, and yuca — which made our experience feel even more authentic. They also sell the coffee that is produced there, and what a experience! We brought our own meat and had a barbecue surrounded by the most peaceful environment. Azucena and Pacho guided us through beautiful trails to the waterfalls and made the whole experience truly magical. The place was spotless — clean, well-kept, and clearly cared for with love. Honestly, the photos don’t do it justice. You have to be there to feel the peace, the beauty, and the connection with nature. The location is perfect for anyone looking to disconnect and enjoy a remote, tranquil escape. Just be aware: the road to get there is rough, so a high-clearance vehicle, preferably a 4x4, is highly recommended. I can’t recommend this place enough. It’s more than just a stay — it’s an experience.

The accommodation itself is an old Hacienda that looks as good as they can but with some more modern amenities added to it. Definitely recommend the coffee tour. Exceptional cooking, but do come hungry as the portions are generous!

Alejandro was wonderful, and highly accommodating. The gardens are sooo beautiful and each cottage like an inviting sanctuary. The cool crisp mountain air was so nourishing after spending a month in the humidity of the forest. Breakfast was also the perfect send off, one of the best from our entire journey! We definitely hope to return.
