everything was perfect! :) The breakfast was especially good. We enjoyed a variety of omelettes each morning. And one of my favorite dishes was the croissant. When I think of Barcelona, the smiles of the staff still come to mind.

The highlight of our trip! Ohla Barcelona is truly phenomenal from the second you enter the premises. The *entire* staff were attentive and warm with the front desk staff being exceptionally animated and friendly. Special shout-out to Salvatore. We were lucky enough to get a room upgrade for our stay. The Penthouse room was one of the most fantastic spaces I have *ever* seen - we had a duplex space with a lounge, a terrace overlooking magnificent Barcelona, and a spa-like bathroom. A fantastic blend of luxury without any compromise on comfort. The bed itself was like sinking into a cloud. Everything was magical - with so much attention to detail and special touches. I loved little things like a card on your bed after turn-down giving you an indication of the next day's weather forecast, and a call once we were in our room to ensure we were happy. The area around the hotel is charming and wonderful with tons of shops and places to eat. We ate at the restaurant on site which was superb. Breakfast too was fantastic with tons of options. I only wish we had time to make it to the rooftop pool and bar.

Ciutadella Park

The former site of a much-loathed fortress, La Ciutadella was transformed into a grand venue for the 1888 World Fair. Reminders of that gilded era still evoke a sense of wonder in visitors today. Walk under the triumphal entrance arch, past the modernist Castell dels Tres Dragons and on to the ornate Cascada fountain to whisk yourself back to another age.

    It was THE best choice! I used to live in Barcelona, so I knew the area — the location is perfect for a short stay and very convenient to access. Had a room overlooking the Ciutadella park — and so happy I'd payed a little bit extra for that , since in this case it was so worth it. Beautiful and spacious entrance and bar/dining area, amazing breakfast (same every day but great quality). Lovely staff. Perfect price/quality overall.

    I stayed here as a solo traveler and loved it. The location couldn’t be better — right across from the beautiful Estació de França, with Ciutadella Park next door, the beach (Barceloneta) about 15 minutes away, and the Gothic Quarter and Born just around the corner. I always felt safe walking in the area, and it was a perfect base to explore Barcelona while enjoying a quiet and friendly place to stay.
