Situated conveniently within a 3-minute walk from Xinbeitou MRT Station, Beitou Hot Spring Resort operates a 24-hour front desk and offers elegantly modern rooms with private hot spring bathtub. Everything about this hotel was great, by far the best stay of our Japanese + Taiwanese vacay. The rooms were of a good size, very clean and also cleaned every day, complete with clean towels and the floors were also vacuumed daily. The spa tub in our hotel room was awesome, we used it every night. The toilet was also separate from the shower which was brilliant and convenient. The cups were changed daily and coffee/tea/cookies were refilled daily too. The breakfast spread was wholesome with both taiwanese and western options. Overall, very good value for money. The location is slightly further from downtown Taipei but closer to Yangmingshan (if you enjoy hiking), the location is good. It's also conveniently located close to the traditional market, highly recommend you visit the local morning market Beitou. We also found good restaurants located nearby the hotel. The only improvement for the hotel is to consider having netflix in the rooms. Apart from that, everything was really good. Will consider staying here again.

Luxurious living in the city can be found at Le Meridien Taipei, a 5-star property with an indoor heated pool, 5 dining options and free WiFi. Staff were friendly. Will say Taiwanese are friendly.

Il moderno Metro Hotel sorge a Taipei, a 8 minuti a piedi dalla stazione di Xingtian Temple MRT. This is not a luxury hotel. The hotel is good value for money. The location is about 500-600 meters from the Metro station and 300 meters from bus stops. It is quite convenient to travel around Taipei. The room is relatively large, comfortable bed, a small working table and cabinet for clothing. The breakfast is good and the coffee of the breakfast is good, from bean to cup coffee, not instant coffee.
