Very nice hotel on the main square of cute little village. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Free parking in front of the hotel. There is amazing restaurant on the site. Food was incredible. We really enjoyed it. Would highly recommend the place and for sure come again

Wonderful accommodations, exceptional dinners...fresh local ingredients, absolutely delicious Slovenian dishes prepared perfectly! Had a really thoughtful conversation with the owner about the history of the area, who was able to share perspectives of Slovenians who stayed in the region after WWII. (My family emigrated from a neighboring town to the US after the war) After visiting this gorgeous place, it was easy to see why my grandfather missed his homeland so much.

They helped me with a million questions, were so kind and welcoming every time I stopped by, and we're just overall some of the best, most welcoming hotel staff I've ever interacted with! The hotel itself has lovely old charm and is ornate and gorgeous, but the rooms are still modern and updated. I was in a room by the elevator but didn't even notice the noise. I had a delightful view onto the courtyard. The spa and wellness area is fantastic with many different options, both for pools and for services. I was able to book 2 services at the last minute, and they were lovely and reasonably priced. Breakfast was FANTASTIC. A great buffet with a variety of selections. I was just sad I'm not very hungry in the mornings so I couldn't eat more.

A strong recommendation for anyone looking to escape the city hustle and enjoy peace and nature.

Set in Metlika in the Dolenjska (Lower Carniola) region, Luxury Residence Metlika offers accommodation with access to a public bath. The property was amazing. Modern, immaculately clean and luxurious, it was a fantastic find. The owner was very welcoming. We loved the hot tub and sauna.
