This property was stunning. We used it as a base for snowboarding Ohau and treble cone. The fireplace & hot tub were a massive hit for us after the hill. Star gazing was also impeccable from the back yard! We also checked out the lake nearby (recommended from the host in their welcome book) and had a quick cold water plunge. Whole experience was excellent. Comfy beds. We will be back.

We loved our stay at Lexi Lodge, this lodge is really something very special. The place was perfectly cleaned, had all the amenities you'd expect and need and the beds were super comfy. Staff and really friendly and helpful The lodge is in a perfect spot for some peace and quiet, late night stargazing, and a wonderful relax in the hot tub! During the day you can feed the animals who are.all friendly and happy to see guests! We cannot wait to come back

A recently renovated apartment, The Good Shepherds Hut in the NZ Dark Sky Reserve offers accommodation in Simons Pass. We absolutely loved our stay at Sarah’s place. Everything was so well thought out, cosy and relaxing for the perfect weekend away. The stars at night are spectacular, watching them from the Hot Tub was a real highlight. Sarah's dogs came to greet us each morning and are the most friendly adorable dogs we've ever met! Best host, best location and lovely hut. We cannot wait to come back again soon!

Fantastic property in a stunning location. The farm tour was a fantastic addition to the stay and really added to the experience. The host is very welcoming and made this the perfect start to our NZ holiday.
