Boasting a terrace with lake views, an indoor pool and a garden, The Retreat can be found in Taupo, close to Great Lake Convention Centre and 35 km from Orakei Korako Cave and Thermal Park. It was a little difficult to find even with the map I brought with me. Should have spent one fewer day in Rotorua, and a second day in Taupo.

Beautiful house. Comfy beds, great hot tub and nice back yard ! Lovely open concept kitchen which was great. We will definitely come back!

Moe Marie Sleep Peacefully asub Turangis. Aiavaatega majutusasutusel on päikeseterrass. Hommikusöögiga majutusasutuse igas toas on riidekapp. Everything!! Clean, cozy, awesome, wonderful deck, hot tub, gardens, wonderful hosts.. including the cat. Simply the best!!

Just 300 metres from the lakefront of Waipahihi Bay, Little Haven offers an outdoor swimming pool and a hot tub. The self-contained apartments feature a fully equipped kitchen and a flat-screen TV. Worth every penny spent. It was really nice property with swimming pool, spa pool, small kids playground, table tennis and pool table.

Located on the shores of Lake Taupo, Anchorage Resort offers rooms with free unlimited WiFi access and views of either the pool or the lake. The host Peter was wonderful and welcoming. Location is amazing. Really a great stay, everything that we needed was there, neat, clean and tidy. Amazing view, pools were lovely. It felt like a 5 star experience.

The Reef Resort Motel offers self-contained accommodation on the edge of the Lake Taupo. The property features an outdoor heated freshwater pool and a thermal pool with a hot tub. Spacious rooms, great equipped and tv's that work so well. The pool and smaller hotpool are nice and warm. Everyone is quiet and respectfull and kind. The woman at the front desk was very hospitable. Would recommend!

Arama Retreat - Private Hot Spa 2 Minutes from Town, a property with a garden, is set in Taupo, 34 km from Orakei Korako - The Hidden Valley, 34 km from Orakei Korako Cave and Thermal Park, as well as... Beautiful home, well equipped and enjoyed staying there. We didn't use the spa but it looked amazing. Communication with the hosts was excellent and they provided a booklet of recommendations which was appreciated.

Situated in Taupo, 37 km from Orakei Korako Cave and Thermal Park and 37 km from Orakei Korako - The Hidden Valley, Idyllic Getaway - modern and stylish with private spa offers air conditioning. This home was absolutely stunning! Clean, well equipped, comfy and warm! We LOVED everything about this home. Was so hard for us to leave this home made us feel so much at home. I could go on and on about how amazing our stay was but we will most definitely be booking again in the near future.
