Renovated good sized rooms and bathrooms - well thought out in their lay outs. Fantastic view from the patio and the window of the room we stayed in. One of the best breakfasts I have had in a long time. Very helpful and friendly staff. I wanted to extend my stay for a night but they were booked out.

If you choose the Viking experience for dinner, prepare to be surprised. The feeling, the food, the entire setting—it’s something else. The fish dish in particular was incredibly fresh and simply prepared in the best way possible. It lets the flavor speak for itself. The Viking house is truly one of a kind. How can anything compare to that? Olef clearly loves his place and his history. He doesn’t just run the hotel—he lives it. He is a genuine Viking, and it shows in every part of what he’s created here.

We arrived early at our destination and they were very accommodating and let us check in early. We were met at the property and given a tour by Peter. It was a wonderful experience!

She gave us great tips on where to shop and what to see, and was always available to answer questions about the house and the surrounding area. Villa Freya is an exeptional holiday home with really everything you need for a relaxing holiday. We stayed there with our children and their partners and felt right at home immediately. I had an unforgettable weekend at this countryside house. The combination of beautiful surroundings, a cozy atmosphere, delicious home-cooked meals, and the warmth of the hosts made this a weekend to remember. What made this stay so special was how it felt like visiting good friends. The moment I walked in, I was welcomed by the inviting and carefully decorated space - every corner felt cozy and full of charm. The hospitality of the hosts, a lovely couple, was outstanding. They prepared both breakfast and dinner, and we shared these meals together, talking and enjoying the food made with love. Their recommendations for hikes and viewpoints helped make my weekend both relaxing and fulfilling.
