Villa abuts the ocean; you wake up to the sound of crashing waves right outside. Private swimming pool offers refreshing reprieve from the hot days, and romantic hangout on evenings. In-unit washer is a great help. The villa is one of several in the complex. While we were there, the occupancy rate was very low, and we practically had the place all to ourselves. Facing the ocean means you get unobstructed view of the daily spectacle of sunsets. During low tides when the ocean front is accessible, the entire beach (quite flat out into the water) is for our enjoyment.

Located off the coast of Borneo on Gaya Island, Bunga Raya Island Resort & Spa features spacious villas with a private balcony. The resort boasts an outdoor pool and 3 dining options. Me and my husband travelled Sabah this year to celebrate our birthday's at Bungaraya Island Resort 3D2N. The check in was very smooth and all our luggage was taken care from Jesselton Point Jetty and straight to our room. On our arrival we received this delicious welcoming drinks rose syrup juice then we were introduced to our personal assistant. The villa's on the island are very spacious with large balconies, the rooms were clean and very comfortable. I like the hospitality and how the staff and workers was well trained, so helpful, polite and friendly. All the staff are well welcoming. Nice location with private beach. It was so nice to stay with nature around all the time. The swimming pool was good enough for kids and adults. Wildlife all around. I would definitely recommend this resort to anyone who needs a break from our hectic business lives.

Beautifully kept apartment with all mod cons and comfy beds, everything worked great, adjoining rooms were really handy, host was very quick to respond to any questions and all info was clear

Didn’t expect the room come with little pantry with ricecooker, water kettle, and stove to cook. Plates, cups and utensil for cooking also provided. But they only allow Halal food ya. There is fridge also. Room is very clean and love the sweet pink color room😆 pool is not too deep and have lovely warm temperature. This place is well maintain.
