Where do I begin to describe paradise? I am so glad I booked into Leopard Reach as my base for the Yala National Park because I had a truly unforgettable taste of luxury in the jungle. I loved it so much, I stayed two nights. This is a truly special place, with only a few tent-lodges. In fact, I was the only guest on the property, and was treated like a queen. The interior of my room was top quality, with all amenities. And the private mini pool on the terrace was extremely welcome. On both nights I had an exceptional dinner; the first night consisted of a Sri Lankan curry with so many lovely dishes, and the second was an al fresco BBQ, prepared just for me. Breakfast was served on my private terrace. I cannot speak highly enough of Fonseka, the General Manager (the quintessential host) and his trusty team of Randika (what a great guy), Lakruwan (who makes the place run like clockwork) and Kasun (the Chef). Thanks a million.

One of the most beautiful properties where we stayed in Sri Lanka. We had Chalet No. 1 as a family and it was very spacious and very well designed. What an unique experience ! Super friendly stuff, our host Damith was doing his best to make sure we had the best experience. They arrange Safari tours as well. Very quiet location.

This is a wonderful place to stay; fantastic if you are on a budget and understand the facilities are basic. There is electricity, warm water and a comfortable bed...in a fabulous location with fabulous hosts. You will see an array of wildlife (porcupine, bats, crocs, elephants and exotic birds). Danoushka and Anousha were warm, welcoming and kind. We loved our stay here and felt part of nature. Anousha cooks delicious Sri Lankan food and Danoushka is knowledgeable about the local area; We went on a tuk tuk drive with him to see various temples and sites of historic importance - a highlight of our stay in Sri Lanka. My husband also did an early morning bird spotting safari on the back of a motor bike which enabled him to take some close shots of the abundant bird life. Jungle cabin gave us the experience of "real" Sri Lanka and, as a middle aged couple, it was an absolute pleasure to spend time with the hosts and enjoy their home. We would not hesitate to recommend this as a rustic place to stay...make the most of Danoushka's local and wildlife knowledge and...enjoy the tranquility.

Pláž Nidangala Beach je 20 metrů daleko.... The property is a lot bigger than I realised, (the actually grounds themself). The gardens and design is very beautiful and the beach is one of the most beautiful and quiet beaches I’ve ever seen! We stayed in the private villa and it was as described, it is a standard villa but clean and comfortable for our one night stay before the yala safari. All of the staff are super friendly and helpful too. We had lunch, breakfast and dinner here across the two days and it was very good! Just be aware if you stay here there isn’t anything close within walking distance, but we knew this and it was fine as we were only staying the night, but I’m sure getting transport would be no problem! We had an amazing 6 nights stay at Paddy Field view. The couple who own the place are so nice, helpful, caring.. being a bit outside of the city was perfect, getting all the green view and the peacefulness that comes with. At the same time it was also close to everything, about 3/4 minutes to the main road.they arrange safari as well.We highly recommend. Thanks again 🙏🏼😍
