The apartment was very clean and spacious and has everything that you might need for a comfortable stay. Aki-san is a very nice and caring host, and the breakfast was superb. Highly recommended to stay here, but it is better to have a car, which we did, and it was easy to find the location with google map.

YaNMAR SUNSET MARINA CLUBHOUSE&HOTEL asub Moriyamas, 19 km kaugusel Enryaku-ji templist. Kohapeal on hooajaline välibassein, tasuta eraparkla, terrass ja restoran. With the hotel being newly opened, the facilities were spotless. I enjoyed relaxing in the outdoor pool and jacuzzi, admiring the sunset behind the Hira mountains. Dinner was a meat lover's dream, with every course bursting with flavor and perfectly paired wines. The next morning, we indulged in a breakfast made from fresh Omi vegetables, delivered via room service so we could savor it while taking in the scenic view of Lake Biwa. And the staff were all incredibly friendly.

Featuring a hot tub, FarmStay INN Sanzaemontei 三左衛門邸 別館 wide room - One group per day, one building available for exclusive use is set in Takashima. I had a very relaxing and quiet time in an authentic Japanese house in the countryside. After returning from Biwaichi Cycling, we took a nap on the tatami mats and enjoyed BBQ in the garden for dinner. At night it was a pleasure to see fireflies in the brook just nearby. It looks like it can accommodate a few more people. I will definitely recommend this place to my friends.

Featuring garden views, IZA近江舞子 features accommodation with balcony, around 24 km from Sanzen-in Temple. Built in 2022, the property includes sauna and hot tub. Supplied breakfast was great. The whole facility was excellent, especially the outdoor area with sauna, hot tub and fire.

Situated in Takashima and only 50 km from Sanzen-in Temple, FarmStayINN 母屋 Sanzaemon-tei GuestHouse Second floor Shiga-Takasima Traditional Japanese architecture house Limited to one group per day... a lovely stay in a traditional farm-house. a real country-side experience with so nice people! even had a mini-onsen-like experience. it is a quit place, we where looking for this kind of experience. the land -lord is living downstairs, we had a big traditional room upstairs.

The rooms are nice and clean. The owner was very kind. The location worked great for me as I preferred a place further away from the crowds but easily connected to Kyoto.
