Opened in April 2017, Hakone Kowakien Tenyu offers Japanese-style rooms with tatami flooring, an open-air bath or ceramic open-air hot springs bath made with Shigaraki pottery. So so so beautiful and the staff was amazing only stayed for a night before heading off to my next location but would definitely stay another night to explore Hakone. Tried new foods I normally wouldn’t eat as well which was a great experience as well 🙂‍↕️

The opportunity to stay in a Japanese villa, in a great location by Lake Ashi, with a kitchen and plenty of space was amazing. Then, the hot springs shower and tub was super special. It truly was healing to our bodies that were a bit worn out from travel. Yes, stay here! We hope to stay longer next time. It was a little hard to find. Yet, a kind gentleman was watching out for us and directed us.

Loved the design of our room and having 2 separate beds allowed us to rest and recharge. Sadly we had only 1 onsen on the balcony, so we took turns with my husband. There was a cd player with several Jazz collections. Restaurant food was delicious and the staff made sure to explain the menu and answer all the questions we had. Most of the time they’d use the portable translators. Hot springs/ spa area was rotated every morning, so we got to experience both bath areas. My favorite treat was the vinegar drink after the baths.

The onsen was nice, breakfast was yummy (home made bread!) and we got chocolate cake brought to the room as an extra bonus by the owner and his little son.

Ideally located in Yokohama, The Kahala Hotel & Resort Yokohama, open from September 2020, offers lavishly-decorated air-conditioned rooms, a restaurant, free WiFi and a bar. The room and view was spectacular. Truly 5 star. The gym was very well equipped and open 24 hours…even Chris Bumsted (Mr Olympia) would have been happy. The spa facilities were excellent.

SAKE Kura Hotel 川崎宿 se nachází v destinaci Kawasaki a poskytuje pokoje s klimatizací a bar. Omori Hachiman Shrine je 5,3 km daleko. Tento hotel se nachází v dobré lokalitě v oblasti Kawasaki Ward. Staffs were very nice, the location was comfy as well. The room has no windows but it was very nice to rest and sleep. Wish that the breakfast has more options but all in all everything was good.

WeBase Kamakura is a resort hotel and restaurant in the ancient capital of Kamakura, one minute from the Shonan sea and one hour from the city. The room was spacious and clean. The toiletries were great too. There were many free lounge activities throughout the day to enjoy. The breakfast was superb!

Set in Hakone’s natural beauty, Gora Kadan is located a 5-minute walk from Gora Station on the Hakone Tozan Line. Guests can leisurely soak in the hot spring bath, relax with a massage treatment. Gora Kadan is a perfect introduction to traditional onsen. Thank you to the lady who checked us in and to Raya the room attendant who made our stay phenomenal !

Surrounded by nature in Hakone, the Senkyoro Ryokan boasts a terrace and an open-air hot spring overlooking the mountains. Free WiFi is available in the lobby area. It was just perfect very nice hotel and staff, the food was amazing, the onsen was so relaxing, the staff was super friendly and welcoming
