This 5-star family-run hotel in Bad Füssing offers an extensive garden with sun loungers, free WiFi and free parking in the underground garage. The staff were very friendly and the spa was amazing. It was easy to find a place by yourself in the upstairs infinity pools. The physiotherapist was amazing and really helped my pain levels. The food was incredible. Plentiful and of a very high and tasty standard. A seven course dinner no less and included in half board. The hotel had free e-bikes to borrow and the town was set out so perfectly for riding around. You can ride over the bridge between Germany and Austria. There were many fitness activities you could sign up for like stretching and water aerobics. I had a wonderful time. I could have stayed there another week at least!

Restaurant & cuisine – The dining room delivered outstanding food, excellent table service, and mountain views that made every meal memorable. Hospitality – Staff throughout the hotel—from check‑in to housekeeping—exceeded every expectation. Breakfast experience – A wide and tasty buffet, prompt service, with hot dishes prepared on request made for an energizing start to each day. Ideal for short stopovers – I originally planned this as a two‑night rest to avoid a long drive after a flight. While I didn’t have time for the spa, its generally praised 1,000 m² wellness area shows just how full a longer stay could be. Impeccable cleanliness – I hold very high standards for hygiene; the room and public areas surpassed them entirely.

This family run business operates with professionalism, kindness, and a huge sense of pride. My husband and I got lost travelling,the day we were supposed to check in and we didn’t arrive to the hotel until 1130 pm, they left a note on the front door with instructions on how to get settled in which was a huge relief after a full day of travelling. The next morning, the owner came and greeted us during breakfast. He was a lovely gentleman. The hotel itself, exudes charm, and it is extremely clean.  Our room was spacious and had incredible views. I would highly recommend this hotel. If you are visiting Rothenberg, I promise you, you will not be disappointed.

The 4-star superior hotel has been family-run since 1634 and offers an indoor swimming pool, various saunas, steam baths, a children's playground and a cosy lounge. The hotel is perfect with it's whole organisation to feel comfortable and welcomed.
