Restaurant & cuisine – The dining room delivered outstanding food, excellent table service, and mountain views that made every meal memorable. Hospitality – Staff throughout the hotel—from check‑in to housekeeping—exceeded every expectation. Breakfast experience – A wide and tasty buffet, prompt service, with hot dishes prepared on request made for an energizing start to each day. Ideal for short stopovers – I originally planned this as a two‑night rest to avoid a long drive after a flight. While I didn’t have time for the spa, its generally praised 1,000 m² wellness area shows just how full a longer stay could be. Impeccable cleanliness – I hold very high standards for hygiene; the room and public areas surpassed them entirely.

The 4-star superior hotel has been family-run since 1634 and offers an indoor swimming pool, various saunas, steam baths, a children's playground and a cosy lounge. Non ti devi preoccupare di niente. Situato nel comprensorio sciistico Zugspitz Arena di Heiterwang, a 1 km dal Lago di Heiterwang e proprio di fronte alla fermata dello ski bus gratuito, l'Appartements Gladbach offre la connessione... Incantevole il paesino, residence confortevole e dotato di tutto il necessario (anche microonde e lavastoviglie). Posto auto al coperto. Ottime e ben tenute piscina e centro benessere. Molto apprezzata da noi la vasca idromassaggio all'aperto con vista su prati e montagne.

We had a wonderful experience at the Zugspitz Hotel Diana Thörle. It was the perfect place to stay in Ehrwald for our short hiking trip. The hotel staff were extremely helpful and courteous — we've experienced such warm hospitality at only a few places. They arranged a lovely buffet breakfast for us, and thanks to their support, we were able to successfully complete our hike to Seebensee. They provided weather updates and helped us with planning, which made a big difference. As for the accommodation, we booked a two-room apartment with a kitchen and a balcony. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed. Sitting on the balcony and enjoying the breathtaking mountain views was a highlight of our stay. There’s a local bus service (refer to the pics attached) to and from Ehrwald town, but since it runs infrequently, it's important to plan accordingly. If we’re traveling through southern Germany or nearby Austria again, we would definitely love to return here.
