The accommodation is fantastic with its location on top of a hill overlooking the city of Salzburg. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. I will definitely stay here again if I come back.

Hotel Doktorwirt enjoys a quiet location in the southeastern part of Salzburg, only a few minutes away by car or bus from the centre. Parking is available free of charge. What a fantastic stay! I stayed two nights in a group of three, but could have easily spent a week here if I had the chance. We loved the hotel and its setting very much. Our room was comfortable and had a beautiful view towards the mountains. The hotel is close to a couple of hiking trails up Gaisberg Mountain which was great fun. And cooling off in both pools after that hike made it even better. Breakfast was lovely and staff were always sososo kind and helpful towards us. The hotel is very close to the bus—about a three minute walk—and the bus runs every ~20 minutes. It takes maybe 15 minutes to get into town. We loved Salzburg very much and adored the gorgeous city, but found that staying a bit outside and taking advantage of the nature made it all the more worth it. I can’t recommend this hotel enough.
