The people are really nice too, super super responsive for everything.

Xalet Bringué Hotel se nachází v horské vesnici El Serrat v Andorrských Pyrenejích. Atraktivní dřevěná a kamenná budova má designové interiéry a venkovní terasy nabízejí panoramatický výhled. Normally, Booking.com does me a dirty when booking places. I booked one night here and ended up staying for five. Upon my arrival I was met by staff and offered bag carrying. There is free parking out front ( snow brush and ice scraper available) or for 11 euros per night there is a garage. I had two dogs with me who slept in the vehicle, this was not an issue as all rooms are not road facing, if they had barked it would not have disturbed anyone. Just a two minute walk up the road is a trail to the river and park. Elleven minutes drive is Ordino Arcalis ski resort ( also free parking). My room had a heated floor, verypowerful shower that maintained a constant temperature always, big double bed, large TV with all apps, USB and plug sockets each side of the bed. Room has a fridge. The hotel's wifi is fast with a strong connection. Plenty of very nice towels, robes also at no additional charge ( makes a nice change). The room has a thermostat which has very little lag on bringing the temperature up or down, impressive in a large room. The cleaner is exceptionally thorough and the room was turned out beautifully every day even down to mopping the floors. The staff are totally on point, super helpful and accommodating. They arranged the veterinary appointment for my dogs travel back to UK at no extra charge also. My medical conditions ( allergies) were taken into consideration and my room allocated away from the restaurant ( note I did not eat in the restaurant so cannot comment outside of breakfast). My room had a lovelly balcony with views down the valley and of the river cascading down the rocks. The Spa: I used this twice. Once it was busy and quite noisy and another time I had the place to myself which was Bliss. The Spa was an additional fee for 90minute session. The hot stone beds being my favourite. I spent an hour on one ( there are four) listening to audio books.

A very nice and clean hotel in the city center. There is a lovely but small spa in the hotel, which should ideally be booked in advance, as it might be too late by the time you check in.

I loved Hotel El Castell de Ciutat. Located on top of a hill it has great views of the city below. Lovely public rooms and a beautiful breakfast room, eating either inside or on the terrace. It also has a restaurant on site. Our room was a suite and it was spacious, bright and clean. Huge bathroom, double sinks, separate WC with bidet, walk in shower, and a bathtub with shower. The suite was big enough for a king bed and living room furniture. It also featured a large wraparound terrace with furniture. Breakfast was wonderful. All staff were friendly and helpful. They had a large room within the hotel to securely park our bicycles. This was a great stay.

Notre-Dame d'Escouloubre Sources d'eaux chaudes privées et sauna se nachází v destinaci Escouloubre a má restauraci, sdílený lounge, bar, zahradu, celoročně otevřený venkovní bazén, terasu a výhled na... Firstly, the hosts were so friendly, helpful and very attentive. The building is beautiful and our room was lovely, spotlessly clean, really comfortable and they arranged for a heater to take the chill off the room. We also had full access to a kitchen/diner and living room just to ourselves. Cedric cooked us an amazing 3 course meal and the breakfast was exceptional the next morning with delicious buckwheat pancakes and homemade preserves. The setting is beautiful in the Pyrenees, peaceful and relaxing, and we drove through beautiful mountain scenery. The bonus was meeting their gorgeous collie. We wish we could have stayed longer.
