Wild Olive Tree Camp, located just1 kilometre from the Orpen Gate to the Kruger National Park, and bordering the Manyeleti Game Reserve, is a community owned and managed solar powered green energy bush camp with comfortable en suite Safari style tented accommodation. The thoughtfully positioned tents on platforms feature a front deck and an private en suite bathroom. The room rate is a per person bed and (table d' hote) dinner inclusive rate. It is possible to book breakfast before arrival at the camp. Extremely rewarding Safari game drive experiences are enjoyed in the Greater Kruger Manyeleti Reserve at an additional fee. Wild Olive Tree Camp has a swimming pool and bush spa on site. Hoedspruit/Eastgate Airport is 60 km from the camp and transfers can be arranged.anged.

Wild Olive Tree Camp is a simply appointed safari style, tented camp which was established and is managed by the indigenous people of this area. This quiet, intimate bush camp is a stones throw from the Kruger National Park's Orpen Gate entrance and shares a boundary with Manyeleti Game Reserve, which is part of the great Kruger area and affords some of the most exceptional safari style - open game vehicle - or self drive game viewing in the region. Wild Olive will fulfill the expectations of travellers seeking an unpretentious and thoroughly authentic South African bush and wild life experience.
We are proud to welcome you to our community managed tented camp where you will enjoy the most delicious home style meals, comfortable accommodation in our privately situated tents, incredible bird song at dawn and the calls of the wild at night. We are the perfect base for your game viewing/bush loving African experience. Pre arrange your safari style game drives with us. Our game drives leave early morning and later afternoon and our skilled game guides will enthrall you with the most amazing African animal sightings you can imagine. We can also advice you on travel through the Kruger National Park and on experiences of local culture in our area.
Wild Olive Tree Camp is the gateway to the Kruger National Park - one of the most iconic game viewing environments on the planet. Manyeleti Reserve which is a well kept secret, is on our boundary and has the full spectrum of incredible big 5 and all African animal game viewing that can be enjoyed. Being part of the community means we can organise local culture community tours right on our doorstep. We visit the local tribal people, see how they live, drink a beer at the local bar and appreciate their art and crafts.
