Forest Hills is the perfect place for couples, families and nature lovers to relax and unwind. We offer casual self-catering accommodation set in private indigenous gardens and lawns that lead to the natural forest. Paths from the gardens lead you to a short circular walk around the property through forest, fynbos, passed a dam and a large lookout deck on the edge of the forest. If you are lucky you may catch sight of the bushbuck, boar, caracal, monkeys and baboons that visit Forest Hills. The knysna lourie can often be seen with a flash of red as it swoops along the forest edge and at times fish eagles call from up high. A true birders paradise. Facilities include a large swimming pool with a slide and trampoline. Forest Hills is also pet friendly.

I aim to offer my guests a private, easy going, value for money stay in this exceptionally beautiful part of the Garden Route. I am a keen hiker, beginner surfer, art lover and all round nature enthusiast and am happy to share any local knowledge I have with you on what the area has to offer as well as the diverse plant and animal life.

Forest Hills is perfectly positioned 15 minutes from the picturesque lagoon side town of Knysna and the superb swimming beach of Buffalo Bay. The National Forest with it's giant Yellow Wood trees, day hikes and picnic spots is just 10 minutes away.
