Situated high on the west bank of the Kowie River in Port Alfred, the heart of the Sunshine Coast, Marianne and Rob welcome you to their Guest House. With views over the Royal Alfred Marina and the Kowie River towards East Beach and the Indian Ocean, PANORAMA lives up to its name.
We are very close to Stenden University and the Royal Port Alfred Golf Club and within easy walking distance of the town centre and West Beach.
We have been in the hospitality industry for over 30 years ad enjoy meeting people from all walks of life. Between us, we speak English, Afrikaans, German, Dutch and Xhosa. Come and enjoy our warm South African hospitality!
Panorama Guest House is located in the town of Port Alfred, on the R72, approximately 150km from both Port Elizabeth and East London. An easy day drive to Addo Elephant Park is possible.
Situated along the coast and enjoying such temperate weather makes Port Alfred an ideal water sports destination which is enhanced by the fact that the Kowie River is navigable for about 22 kilometres. The Kowie River, which flows into the Indian Ocean, divides the town in two and the banks are linked by two bridges. Boat cruises and various hiking trails are available in this region, which is rich in indigenous flora, fauna and bird life.
