This Edwardian-style private cottage is built on the farm Doornkraal 5 km from the small town De Rust in the Klein Karoo. It is set in the gardens of the main farm house, an impressive Ostrich Palace constructed in 1914. The cottage consists of 2 en suite bedrooms, next to the swimming pool. It has two outside braai patios, and you have exclusive use of these two areas. You have the freedom of the farm, and are welcome to explore the entire property at any time. It is an extremely safe area.

Fifth generation sisters Celia and Julia manage the farm and cottages, spoiling guests with genuine, warm hospitality.

De Rust is a closely-knit farming community and the small town plays host to quaint shops and interesting characters.
