Constantia, is a friendly, community focused suburb of Cape Town. Jacques enjoys sharing his love of Cape Town and surrounds with visitors and is proud that Table Mountain is now one of the new seven natural wonders of the world! A deli which is 10 minutes walk away called the Chardonnay Deli, serves home cooked meals, pizzas, and breakfasts and is open till 18h00. You can also buy milk, cheese, fresh bread, cold meats with salads and cakes as well as the daily newspaper. In the same center is 2 excellent restaurants, as well the Groot Constantia complex with it's restaurants Jonkershuis and Simon's is a mere 350m stroll away though the vineyard.
Constantia Village is a small shopping center, which has a selection of stores including a Pharmacy, Woolworths, Pick n Pay, numerous Coffee Shops and restaurants.
The Iconic Kirstenbosch Botanical gardens, SA Museum, Planetarium, National Art Gallery and Holocaust Museum, are all important tourist sights which are within a short driving distance to the home. You could not wish to be more central on the Cape Peninsula. The area is well serviced with Uber vehicles. The Waterfront and CBD are easily accessible, and the beautiful beaches of Camps Bay or Clifton are a mere 25 minutes drive away. The Oranjezicht City Farm Market on Wednesday evening's and Saturdays and Sunday, The Woodstock Biscuit Mill on Saturdays and the Cape Point Vineyard Market on Thursday evenings are all within 30 minutes by car and are stocked with organic produce, and a large variety of local street food stalls. A visit to Greenmarket square to look at the curios and beadwork made by our local people is also very popular. Bo Kaap and its colourful heritage and culture are situated around the corner from each other.
