Featuring pool with a view and views of pool, Baardbos Private Game Reserve is a recently renovated apartment located in Stilbaai, 15 km from Stilbaai Golf Club. Boasting a shared kitchen, this property also provides guests with a picnic area. The apartment also provides free WiFi, free private parking and facilities for disabled guests. All units come with a patio with mountain views, a fully equipped kitchenette with a microwave and a toaster, and a private bathroom with shower. Our cozy chalets accommodate 2 adults and 1 child (up to 13 years) or 2 small children, and are equipped with all the essential amenities for your comfort. All guests also have access to our fully solar-powered lapa entertainment area, featuring WiFi, a television with Netflix and DSTV, a pool table, foosball table, braai and seating area, and even a relaxing hot tub—perfect for unwinding after a day of farm adventures.

When the opportunity arose, Christiaan, along with his wife Rové, seized the chance to breathe new life into the reserve, taking over its management in December 2021. Christiaan poured his heart and soul into restoring the reserve to its former glory. With Rové by his side, their shared passion for nature and wildlife became the driving force behind their vision for Baardbos. Together, they worked tirelessly, implementing sustainable practices and fostering a deep connection with the land. Their son, Alandré, grew up amidst the beauty of Baardbos, learning the importance of conservation from his parents. From a young age, he developed a profound respect for the wildlife and the delicate balance of the ecosystem. With each passing day, Alandré eagerly absorbed his parents’ wisdom, eager to one day carry on their legacy. As the years went by, Baardbos blossomed under the Greyling family’s stewardship. Visitors from far and wide flocked to the reserve, drawn by its untouched beauty and the warmth of the Greyling’s hospitality. Together, Christiaan, Rové, and Alandré welcomed guests with open arms, sharing their love for the land and its inhabitants. Through their dedication and unwavering commitment, the Greyling family transformed Baardbos into a sanctuary for both wildlife and humans alike. Their story served as a testament to the power of passion, perseverance, and the profound bond between a family and the land they call home.
