Agulhas Splendour is situated in L'Agulhas Private Nature Reserve in a secure, gated community. All guests have access to a controlled-access gate where you can enjoy breathtaking panoramic sea views from a private terrace, and if you like hiking and bird watching our place is for you.

Hosts Owen and Meryl originally from Cape Town decided to go on early retirement and build their retirement home in this beautiful nature reserve. We both enjoy people and decided to include accommodation to share with visitors both local and abroad so they could also experience the peaceful tranquility of their home. We strive to make everyone feel welcome and want this to be ”your home away from home”.

Nearby attractions include Struisbaai Harbour where you can spot the stingrays in the shallow waters, beautiful beaches with tidal pools, the Tip of Africa monument, the Agulhas lighthouse, the popular shipwreck against the rocks of Agulhas, scenic boardwalks, rich plant and bird life, as well as restaurants, gift shops, and two supermarkets for local supplies.
