The nearest beach is about 10 min by car. Natural beaches can be discovered along the north coast, where sea turtles come to nest in early summer. Several beautiful hiking trails lead directly from the village into the mountains and the Mediterranean landscape. For the more adventurous, there are a variety of opportunities from diving and other water sports to paragliding. Within walking distance there are two cafes, two restaurants and an English pub right in the village. The closest supermarket is about 7 minutes drive. Just a few kilometers away is the town of Kyrenia with beach cafes, shopping, an old town with small alleys and a restored historic harbor.
