The Villa area is primarily residential, with a few apartments buildings that cater to visitors and locals alike. It is very safe, flat and is one of the more desired neighborhoods for locals. The main community college on the island is located in the area and the majority of hotels and restaurants on the island are within walking distance. There are also supermarkets and bakeries close by, as well as the Calliaqua Police Station, pharmacy and health center. Guests will have no difficulty getting around from this area. The Capital Kingstown is fifteen minutes by car and the Argyle airport is a twenty-minute drive. If you like hiking, guests can enjoy hiking Fort Duvernette which is only accessible by boat, but there are many water taxis close-by that can take you there in less than 10 minutes. You can also enjoy kayaking, scuba diving or sailing through many water sports tour operators in the area.
