The Florida Keys are a 113-mile-long island chain connected by the Overseas Highway (US-1). Here are the driving distances from Duck Key. • Miami (2 hours) • Key Largo (60 minutes) • Islamorada (30 minutes) • Curry Hammock State Park (10 minutes) • Marathon (15 minutes) • Sombrero Beach (20 minutes) • Seven Mile Bridge (25 minutes) • Bahia Honda State Park (35 minutes) • Key West (1 hour 20 minutes) As per the Florida Fire Code, grilling is not permitted on the resort grounds and Villas. There are no trailers of any kind allowed at this property or in the parking lot. Duck Key Marina, just walking distance from the Villa, provides boat slips and trailer parking for a fee. There are also other marinas near by. Please contact them directly. There are no groceries stores in Duck Key. The closest market is a small market at Grassy Key Marina (2.5 miles south) and Publix in Marathon ( 11 miles south). Instacart is available for groceries to be delivered directly to the villa. Recommendation is to shop at Publix Supermarket in Marathon/Islamorada on your way to Duck key. Also, the Trading Post in Islamorada is a full-service deli and grocery store and it is opened 24 hours a day. To prepare for your Keys pursuits, a local land line phone and welcome brochure are at your fingertips. The phone may be used to make calls to anywhere in the US at no charge. Monroe County Tourist Development Tax of 5% is collected as part of your booking and host is responsible of remitting it to the county.
