My grandparents built this home in 1971. They built it with Finnish design. Our family is 4th generation Alaskans. My Great Grandparents help build the Alcan Highway. My Grandfather, Art Reinikka was the Chief/Deputy Engineer overseeing building Elmendorf with the USACE Corp on Elmendorf AFB in the 1940's. He was also the President of the Pioneers of Alaska and very active in the development of city of Anchorage. We enjoy Alaska and raising our family here.
