Spacious, tranquil Portola Valley home. Enjoy the vast outdoor deck, cozy up by the fireplace, take in the towering trees through the home’s beautiful picture windows or simply relax in the clean, modern, fully furnished space. Portola Valley’s renowned trails overlooking the San Francisco Bay are conveniently located just 100 paces away.
We are a family of six who love to collect new experiences and host guests from every walk of life. Jacob and I have roots in New Orleans and Oakland but now call the peninsula home. On a warm evening, we love the peacefulness of our back deck, taking in the tall Redwoods under a canopy of stars. We hope guests leave this place with a sense of the magic of these woods and a desire to return. We are nearby and available by phone ( text) to answer any questions. We are committed to ensuring you have a great stay!
Beautiful Portola Valley is located in the heart of the Silicon Valley: 10 minutes from I-280, 12 minutes from Sandhill Road and 15 minutes from Stanford University. Palo Alto, Woodside, Menlo Park, Mountain View and Los Altos are also right nearby, as well as San Francisco (45 min) and San Jose (30 min). The town itself is known for its picturesque and abundant natural setting with rolling hills, hidden ponds and mountain views—a peaceful, gorgeous retreat, conveniently close to the amenities and attractions of the Peninsula. You’ll also have access to Portola Valley’s world-class trails, horseback riding, cycling, local restaurants, cafes and markets. Day trips: An hour from Santa Cruz. 90 minutes from the Monterey Peninsula, Carmel and Big Sur. Guests will need a car.
