South End is a modern and trendy hotspot of Boston yet retains a historical charm. Grab a coffee from Cafe Madeleine (you’ll need to be early to get a pasty, they sell out!) and walk along the cobbled and quaint streets. Five Horses Tavern is a super cozy spacer with old charm and a great selection of beers on taps and food.
There are so many great food places nearby, ask for our top 10!
You’ll also be close to the exclusive Back Bay Area and The Prudential Center, an exclusive shopping mall with great boutiques and restaurants.
A great way to see Boston is to run the Charles River. It is 1.1 miles straight up Massachusetts Avenue. Go out the front door, turn left onto Columbus, then go right when you hit Mass Ave. Walk up Mass Ave until you hit the Charles River. There are various loops around the river – there is a 3-mile loop and the longest is 17 miles.
We’re proud of our history in Boston – check out the following:
The Freedom Trail
Paul Revere’s House and the Old North Church
The Charles River and The Esplanade
The North End
Copley Square
The Boston Common and Public Gardens
Fenway Park
Harvard Square
You’ll benefit from a walk score of 97 out of 100 which means everything is close by. Take advantage f the MBTA “The T” metro system. There are 3 stops close by:
Orange Line: On Mass Ave between Columbus Ave and St. Botolph Street.
Green Line: Corner of Massachusetts Ave and Huntington
Silver Line: Runs up and down Washington and there’s a stop at the corner of Mass Ave and Washington
