You will be staying on the third floor in a 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom condo with 1,038 SF of living space overlooking an incredible hidden snorkel & swim beach (Chang's). You simply cannot get closer, or have better access, to better beaches in Maui.

Makena Surf is located on the famous gold-coast of Maui often referred to as "Wailea" which is known for it's unforgettable views of sunsets and migrating whales, as well as amazing snorkeling and crystal waters. The Makena Surf Resort will welcome you with a lei upon arrival and you will have many amazing amenities to keep you occupied right on the property including two amazing reclusive beaches, Chang's Beach and Po'olenalena (translates to "Yellow Head", aka "Paipu Beach"), BBQ outdoor terrace, tennis and pickle-ball courts, a large common pool and in-ground hot tub. Chang's Beach is the small, postcard-sized, triangle-shaped, beach that your lanai overlooks and is known by locals for some of the best snorkelling in Maui. 'The Maui Expert' says, "if you're looking for a pocket of sand with exceptional snorkelling and not too many people, then Chang's Beach will be your favorite beach in Makena." However, if you're looking to spread out a little, you can take a short walk to the west side of the resort and enjoy Po'olenalena Beach which is known for calm water and amazing sunsets. 'The Maui Expert' said about this beach "when the water is calm the snorkelling can be fantastic, but during the summer there can sometimes be waves that stir up the visibility. That's good news for boogie boarders though, who often flock to this scenic beach break on any kind of south swell. This also one of the best places on Maui for watching the sunset, and you can pretty much count on a sunset wedding happening every day of the week." You will need a car to get around.
