Welcome to A Bears Pause, where you'll feel right in the heart of nature with this authentic split-level cabin hugged by the Poconos. Once inside, you will be in awe of the beautiful log interior and high ceilings coupled with the hand drawn murals in the front entrance, continued on the upstairs doors. There are large windows throughout the house to enjoy beautiful views of the countryside. Enjoy the spacious, well equipped kitchen to create meals easily. There are many creatively refinished pieces in the home to accent the log interior. Among many, The first you will find is the dining table lovingly repainted and hand drawn verbiage to enjoy many family meals together!
A wife, a mother, and a nature lover. Our family moved to this area because of the natural outdoor activities, the gorgeous atmosphere and friendly neighbors. We have/still enjoy canoeing on the many rivers in the Poconos, hiking to explore, and serene evenings sitting by the fire pit to tame the stress from the day. I really feel fortunate to be 10 minutes from Tobyhanna State Park and 15 minutes from Gouldsboro State Park. Both parks have a plethora of activities to do during winter and summer seasons or you can just sit, relax and enjoy nature in its glory. This home was remodeled but in a slightly different concept. I wanted it to feel rustic intertwining natural aspects with unique artistic spins. I truly believe in restoring and keeping waste down because of this, for many years I’ve been involved in DIY and creative projects. As you explore the home you can see what I was able to bring to life. Ultimately, my goal is sharing good vibes and creative, rustic times so you can make memories that you can look back on with a very large smile on your face! This area is full of nature fun activities! There are so many activities to do in this area like skiing, boating, swimming, canoeing down the Delaware river. If you’re looking for indoor fun, you can take the day to enjoy Camelback or Kalahari Water Parks. Don’t forget to Stop in (only 10mg it’s away) at Poconos Rocks for homemade food and rock climbing or family fun time at Big Screen Escapes both are in Mount Pocono.
