We are your hosts, Scottie and Erin. Scottie is a Battalion Chief at our local fire department in Carlsbad. Erin works in sales and marketing. Between us we have 3 sons, a daughter-in-law, and 3 grandsons! We live in Carlsbad, CA but are in love with the Brainerd Lakes area. We love to travel and utilize short-term rentals as our go-to for stays. We realize that where you stay plays a key part in your experience and we want to ensure that you have a 5 star vacation. At 6,000 acres, North Long Lake is one of the larger lakes in the Brainerd Lakes Area. It is a popular recreational destination, known for its clear waters, scenic beauty, and abundant recreational opportunities. The lake has a maximum depth of 97 feet and an average depth of 28 feet. It is surrounded by forests and rolling hills, which provide a picturesque backdrop for water-based activities such as boating, fishing, and swimming. The lake is home to a variety of fish species, including walleye, northern pike, bass, and panfish, which are popular targets for anglers. It's close proximity to town offers easy access to shopping, restaurants, golfing, and all sorts of entertainment.
