Hi! I'm Lisa. My husband and I moved to Phoenix from NY in 2009 and we just love AZ! Our favorite thing to do is spend time with our family at our cabins in Williams on the weekends hiking, fishing and riding around the woods in our CanAm "hunting" for Elk. My husband is a carpenter and I am the CEO, CFO and president of our home lol. We have 4 amazing kids and 2 dogs. Our oldest son (19) graduated HS in 2023 and jumped right into working with his dad, our daughter (13) loves to ride horses, our 11 yr old son loves to play football and our youngest son (4) is just full of energy and LOVES dinosaurs. My husband and I built these cabins in 2019, putting all our love in every block! We're excited to share our home with you and hope you make lasting memories at The Rustic Retreat!
Sherwood Forest Estates (SFE) is a beautiful 320-acre residential tract in ponderosa pines. Located twenty minutes west of Flagstaff and an hour south of the Grand Canyon, SFE is a secluded, friendly community surrounded by national forest lands and grazing meadows. It’s an ideal area for a weekend retreat or a year-around residence.
Each property is a minimum of one acre. Approximately two-thirds of the lots have homes built on them. The community is under the jurisdiction of Coconino County and the State of Arizona for community laws, zoning and construction regulations. The all-weather roads are maintained by the county. They are graded routinely and plowed in the winter. The posted speed limit, 25 mph, is for the safety of the many walkers and to keep the dust down.
There is a great sense of community here. Our annual standard events are the pancake breakfasts on Memorial Day and Labor Day weekends, an Auxiliary hosted fundraising for the fire department and the POA annual meeting, usually on a Saturday closest to the Fourth of July.
All are invited and welcomed to attend any of the many planned activities throughout the year.
